Delete your Paisa Tracker account

You can permanently delete your Paisa Tracker account and every piece of data we hold for you — directly from inside the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have access to it. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

01 Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest method and confirms it's really you making the request. A six-digit code emailed to your registered address is required before the deletion goes through — that way even someone with momentary access to your unlocked phone cannot wipe your account without also reaching your inbox.

1 Open Paisa Tracker on your phone and sign in.

2 Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.

3 Scroll to the bottom and tap 🗑️ Delete Account & All Data.

4 Type DELETE in the confirmation field and tap Send Code. We will email a six-digit deletion code to your registered address.

5 Enter the code in the app and tap Delete Forever. Your account and all data are removed immediately, and you are signed out.

You will receive a final confirmation email summarising what was deleted, for your records. If you didn't initiate the deletion and you receive this email, contact us right away at support@paisatrackerapp.in.

02 Delete by email (no app access)

If you've uninstalled the app, lost your phone, or otherwise cannot sign in, email us and we will delete your account for you.

Subject: Account deletion request

Include: the email address you used to sign in. We will verify the request from that address before processing.

We aim to action email deletion requests within 7 business days. You'll receive a confirmation once your data has been removed.

03 What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

  • Your profile (name, email, user ID).
  • Every transaction we have detected or that you have added manually.
  • Your SMS import history and all parsed messages.
  • Budgets, daily-limit settings, and category preferences.
  • Notification preferences and device push tokens (FCM).
  • Exported report history and any reports you generated.
  • App-lock PIN, biometric preference, and session tokens.

We do not keep any data after deletion. There is no soft-delete or 30-day recovery window — once it's gone, it's gone. If you change your mind later, you'll need to start fresh with a new sign-up.

04 What we do not store

Even before you delete, Paisa Tracker is built to hold as little as possible. We do not collect:
